Hi, I'm Sandy Helfrich
Owner of Sandy Helfrich Photography. I've been photographing families, newborns, children, high school seniors, and business branding in La Crosse since 2010.
I’ve always been drawn to photographs that show connection, the little looks, the closeness and the relationships that make a family feel like home. Before becoming a photographer, I worked in human resources, then stayed home for a few years when my kids were little. That season made me even more aware of how quickly life changes and how meaningful it is to preserve the people we love.
Through Sandy Helfrich Photography, I get to show families how they are seen by others, loved, connected and worth remembering. It’s also why giving back matters to me. I love supporting organizations that care for the people and families who make our community stronger.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me drinking coffee, playing card games with my family, camping in the summer or walking our dogs, Sadie and Nova. My husband Dave and I live in La Crosse, where we’re enjoying this season of parenting three adult kids who are starting their careers and finishing college. I’m grateful to call this friendly, community-driven, river-and-bluff-filled area home.

I handle every detail from concept to final delivery. The winner receives finished, museum-quality artwork ready to be enjoyed on their walls, not files that get stuck on a hard drive.
